Most of Rudy Giuliani’s Jewish backers will now back John McCain, McCain’s top fund-raiser said.
Fred Zeidman, a top lawyer and lobbyist with offices in Washington, told JTA that the former New York mayor’s fund-raisers, among them prominent Republican Jews, were coming over in droves to the Arizona senator’s campaign for the Republican presidential campaign.
“My phone and Blackberry were going off constantly,” Zeidman said, after it became clear that Giuliani was coming in a distant third in the Florida primary on Tuesday.
Giuliani had pinned his hopes on Florida, and was expected Wednesday to announce his departure from the race and his endorsement of McCain.
McCain won Florida and Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, finished a close second.

Can anything be more stupid and disgusting. McCain wants to join with his fellow liberals and give away the United States. What a disgusting mess. Too bad for the American people, who are so stupid they are not even aware what they are promoting, their own demise.

If Jews back McCain, they are nailing closed the Israeli coffin. McCain almost changed parties in 2004. He will not be a friend of Israel when the press goes against Israel. McCain likes the adoration of the press. He will not go against the press! He is not trustworthy. He is not truthful. He does not have a good moral compass. He has a foul mouth. It is your choice. Mitt Romney is an honest and moral man who loves Israel. I pray that Jews will think carefully and make the correct choice.
How sad there is very little diffierence between the Clintons lying and Mc Cain lying. They are both socialists wherther you want to beleive it or not.

im a canadian but see what is happening in the usa…this is a good thing if the jews are going for mckain…is mckainfor israel? if yes…we need him for the president of usa…yes..we need a president who will support israel no matter what..and get that land back the they should have..god will be in control of that…we need to be wise and listen to his voice…god is good…
What a shame…If we are truely about being on the side of the Land and blessing Israel, we should all be behind Mike Huckabee. While McCain is a ‘good’ man who could no boubt be a ‘good’ president, Huckabee is the true fundememtal Christian who unashamedly states he will follow the Word first and foremost. Believing IN God is not the same as BELIEVING God. When the bible says “I will bless them that bless Israel and curse them that curse her”, you can bet that Huckabee takes that seriously. It’s time we, the ’strong country’, humble ourselves and realize that the Root (Israel) nurishes US and stop thinking that the branches are so powerful that they nurish the root. We must support Israel even if we don’t agree with everything they do or say. Right now they have an unblesed leader who needs to go, but support her I will. Why? Because God said so!!
We are Christians and are a staunch backer of the Jews, but there is just no way,we can vote for John McCain.
I believe that a large percentage of Giuiliani supporters will go with Mike Huckabee. He has visited Israel many times, he believes Israel is a friend and alli of the US and his platform is to allow Israel to rule and defend itself with the US acting in a limited supporting role and not try to tell Israel what to do!!
I voted for and supported President Bush, I thought he was a Chrisitan and he would do what is right by Israel. I have been totally disappointed by the way he has dealt with Israel. I think that our President Bush is bringing GOD’s judgement on our country by forcing Israel to give up the land that GOD has given to her. GOD hasn’t changed HIS mind about givng that land to the Jews. The day President Bush was in Israel, we had 100 toradoes touch down in the USA. Everytime he has done something like pushing Israel to appease the arabs, our country has had some kind of problem. The Bible tells us what GOD wants from His people. Jewish people are GOD’s people as Christians we know HE has given us a love for them and we are to support them as our brothers. The Arabs are not right in what they are doing and we are wrong to support them, and go against the Jewish people. Read your Bible, President Bush. Please do not be the one who puts Israel in the place of giving up her land!! Please don’t bring God’s judgement down on America.

This news is very sad. Many, many of us who are conservative Christians and Republicans cannot endorse McCain or vote for him. We will continue to stand strong for Israel and the Jewish people in their struggles against an enemy who wants to annililate them.
I hope sincerely that there will be conservative Jewish people who will speak out against McCain who is very liberal in his politics.
We are voting for Ron Paul.
He may not be willing to sell arms to Israel, but he will not sell the Arabs arms either.
Right now US sells an incredible amount to the Arabs and very little to Israel. Really, Israel probably has the technology to make their own.
I strongly suggest that all who support Israel support Mike Huckabee! He stands behind Israel 100%, and would have their best interests in mind during all the decisions he would have to make reguarding Israel! In my opinion, to back McCain would be shameful!
