The Goal of the Save Jerusalem Campaign is to collect 1 million signatures on a petition to President Bush asking him not to divide Jerusalem and implement the Road Map Plan.

The Land of Israel was given by God to the descendents of Jacob. Period. No human has the right to change that fact.
I understand the Palestinian need for identity. This is important to us all. Sadly the truth is they do not desire to share one thing with Israel. Ultimately their goal is to eradicate Israel. I am so thankful that as a follower of the Christ I have assurance that His plans will shine forth. Jerusalem must never again be divided. The so called “West Bank” belongs to God’s People Israel and none must be given to the goat herders from Trans-Jordan or Saudi Arabia who came into the land in 1947. These Araba were basically from the desert tents of Jordan…the “unwanted”, and were never allowed to return to Jordan from the annexed the “West Bank”. These Arabs have a Palestinian state, it is called Jordan…let them return to it and there will be a two state solution that everyone seems to want and a legal one. The “West Bank” is called the “Mountains of Israel and the Mountains of Samaria” by the Scriptures and by God. God stamped this Land below Bethel. It is His Land and it does not belong even to Israel for them give it away. God gave it to them AGAIN in June of 1967. God is serious about the whole matter. Jerusalem is very important…but, so are the Mountains of Israel. Nations who try to insist on the return of these areas are in direct opposition to God Himself. Many Scriptures indicated His promises to Israel in the end days. America had better be on the correct side in all this or we will be in serious trouble.

The Bible does not ever speak of a Palestinian state, so therefore it is WRONG TO GO AGAINST GOD’S COMMAND.I thought the United States government had better sense than this. After all, they claim to be so “godly”. however I use the term losely. I don’t thinkthey have a CLUE as to what being & actly GODLY means. Who is doing the PR for this effort to raise consciousness of how critical Jerusalem is for the Jewish People and the world.?
It is with a heavy heart that I hear about someone trying to split Jerusalem. It seems that Israel is the only nation who has to give up land that they took in war ‘fair and square’. Please do not partition Jerusalem.
Do not divide Jerusalem - take the time to review historically the origins of this important and blessed city - the Lord God gave Jerusalem to the Hebrews - the Palestinians do not have rights to Jerusalem. Read your Bible - and study your history - you will understand why Jerusalem should not be divided. In fact, it should be Israel’s capital. Why are politicians dragging their feet in announcing that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital? Why aren’t the embassies located in Jerusalem?
Peace is important between nations - but not at all costs where compromise is involved. Dividing Jerusalem will endanger the well-being of the Jews who live there and erase hundreds of years of historical fact relative to the origins of the city. Have respect for the Word of God - do not divide the city. It is the responsibility of the Arab nations to do something about the Palestinians. Why don’t the Arab countries give up land for them?

In 1922 Britain established - in violation of League of Nations (UN predecessor) mandate conditions for Palestine - the Transjordan Arab state (present Jordan, about 4/5 of the mandate), which already is a Palestinian state, since 70% of Jordan´s population is Palestinians. What makes the matter so infuriating is Britain´s refusal then and later to establish a Jewish state on the rest of the mandate even though the mandate conditions expressly stipulated that a Jewish state be established on the near entirety of the mandate. When finally in 1947 UN commissioned a portion of the mandate to be set apart for the Jews, the Jews were left with only 17% of the original mandate. What remained, including the West Bank, was again given to the Arabs - debarring Jews illegally from the West Bank. The conduct of the British Mandate Administration with its reneging on its obligation and the failure of the UN to carry out the League of Nations mandate conditions is utterly ignominious. PLEASE EMPHASIZE THESE ASPECTS!

I don’t understand why we have to make concessions to the terrorist; we only embolden them. And as a result we create more terror attacks in Israel. Below is a response I received from a Christian Brother whom I sent the “Save Jeruselem Campaign” to.
I am unable to answer his criticism. Can someone in your organization provide a thoughtful, considered and Biblical answer to the following:
Why can’t Arabs, Muslims, Jews and Christians live in one state? What is the significance? As far as I see, this campaign is keeping Christian Arabs from the land that they have been displaced from, how is that so post to be ‘God’s plan’? Yes, there are Muslims, but there are a lot of Christians too, that we Christians trying to keep away from their land. Dispensationalism is false, it makes real estate land in Arabia as something that God cares about, while my Bible tells me that our citizen-ship is in Heaven.
I do not support this racist campaign.
To divide Jerusalem would be the beginning of the end! President Bush read your Bible, please!
We might ask ourselves this, why would we rather please and appease man than obey the commands of Almighty G-d? We really don’t take G-d serious do we?

We urge you to reject the Annapolis Road Map Plan. We cannot - dare not - turn our backs on Israel. They still remain God’s chosen people. The surrounding nations may speak peace, but their motive is still clear -
to eliminate Israel from the map. Do not let them have their way!
God has also promised to bless those that bless Israel. Believe me, God will have the final say.
There is only one Jerusalem and it can NEVER be divided. It is, and always was, the heart for Jews worldwide. Israel has already given land it should have never given up to try for peace in the holy land. Each time Israel gave land for peace, the Arabs became more agressive and demanded more. It is time to expect the Arabs to to offer something for peace and they must start be forgeting about Jerusalem. It is the duty of free people the world over to see that it always stays in the hands of Israel.
There should be three non-negotiatiables before any other items are discusses:
1. Israel’s right to exist must be recognized.
2. Rockets, mortars, etc., from “Palestinians” must be stopped.
3. Jerusalem must not be divided.
My view: Israel should have absolute control over all of Jerusalem with permission given Muslims to access their sites. “All of Jerusalem” obviously includes the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa mosque. Currently, the Old City is divided because the Muslims not only have residence in one section but also have control over it.
