This is the same country that refused to recognize Israel’s right to exist; the same country that will not allow one Jew to set foot on its soil; the same country that birthed the 9/11 suicide bombers; the same country that refuses a church to exist and will cut the heads off any Christian who leads a Muslim to Christ – the Saudis do this all the time – as the world sleeps. This is the same country that is sending suicide bombers into Iraq to kill our troops and the same country that is attempting to destroy the U.S. economy with One-Hundred-Dollar barrel oil. This is blackmail!
I was completely outraged when I heard that Ehud Olmert, whom I have known for 26 years, stood next to President Bush and declared that he would work to fulfill the final status solution to the Road Map to Peace. In essence, this means the division of Jerusalem (with all Christian Holy Sites being under Islamic rule of law) and Judea and Samaria turned over to the Palestinians.
A national Save Jerusalem Campaign has been launched. Presently over 120,000 have signed the petition. The goal is to have one million signatures of the petition to present to President Bush. This petition will also be sent to Ehud Olmert.

This is outrageous. These are terrorist organizations that will kill a Jew in a second if they make a wrong turn on the road and will shoot a Christian Palestinian in the head for saying nice things about Jews.
As this absurd ceremony was going on, they were singing; they had music playing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The only rainbow that I believe in is the rainbow that God put in the sky when He made the Covenant in the time of Noah that He would not destroy the world again by water with a flood.
God’s word says I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee. America must not touch prophecy. The nation of Israel was born by a royal land grant given by God Almighty. It was birthed before there was a United States or a United Nations. All nations were only pagan nations at that time.
Do you realize that the U.S. Government is shuttling around with almost a dozen Arab states that refuse to recognize Israel’s right to exist and, in fact, funding terrorists to kill Jews? It’s outrageous!

There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that the State Department is going to push this through if we remain silent. I was always prepared to give GW the benefit of the doubt, but I have come to the conclusion that the man is an idiot, and is being fed information by another bunch of idiots from Congress (the first 3 letters say it all???) or your version of our Foreign Office, who have been there for so long that they could not see the truth if it jumped up and bit them on the bum, which maybe it should. President Bush has a huge spirit of confusion on him presently. Let’s pray: Jehovah Hamashai, we bind and cast off that spirit of confusion on Bush. We rebuke the spirit of Leviathon on Bush and those who counsel, mentor and recommend decisions and actions for Bush to consider. We pray Almighty and Sovereign God that you will take the blinders off Bush so that he can read exactly where you say that your land Israel will not be divided (under any circumstance). I feel certain that he is putting the USA in harms way if this, indeed, becomes a done deal. Give the “adversary” an inch and a mile is next. This proves that from the President down our government is catering to the oil wells of the mideast. A mna that proclaims to be a Christian and agrees to sell out Israel is the antichrist at his best. He says one thing while doing another.
President Bush leave Israel alone and stop catering to countries that hate us. If you want to make a deal, try this. Two barrels of oil will get them one barrel of wheat or corn.

I am shocked by this irresponsible, greedy action, and duplicity of President Bush. He has not thought through the consequencies of his action, and its potential dangerous effect on Israel and the rest of the world. Nor does he seem to be aware of the spiritual effects on Israel, her status before Almighty God,and the sanctity of Israel, and her unique place in world history and the future of the world. He does not even appreciate the possible outworkings of the O.T. curse on those who hurt Israel, and which could attach itself to the U.S.A. This is a surprising act for someone who purports to be a Christian, and one which those of us who are Christians will want to distant ourselves. Israel has many friends in the world, most of whom are Christians. This act would make me feel ashamed if I were an American, as well as fearful of the possible consequencies on my country.
I find it hard to believe you don’t relate all this to prophecy. We know that ALL nations will come against Israel. We know that Jerusalem will be split in half and the wall will come down. So how is it that we should pray against what God allows? I is interesting to me that you would find any of this as outragous.

Obama has expressed a commitment to Israel. I believe that God is raising him up right now for many reasons; one being for his support of Israel and the other is to use him for the healing of the races, just to name a couple reasons. I used to vote Republican based on a couple of moral issues and now it is much more serious than that. I ‘ve had enough hypocrisy with Bush/Israel/Saudi Arabia and Cheney/Haliburton and Iraq/oil, etc. My entire family is in support of Barack Obama and our prayers are with him, including dispeling all of the devilish, hateful, FALSE rumored emails concerning him being a Muslim. I truly believe he is God’s man for the hour.
Not only will the Saudi government use the military equipment against Israel, they will turn around and use it against the U.S. Bush is not the only one responsible, he also had to have the support of the Congress and Senate. They too are to blame. Lets not forget them. Washington D.C. no longer works “for” the people, they are bought and paid for by big interest groups. Oil companies, drug companies, etc., but certainly not the average person. We can scream all we want, I don’t think it will make one iota of a difference to them.

One thing we must all remember: God is in control…He knows what He’s doing. Yes, our country will pay the consequences for the stupid, asinine decisions of a deceitful administration, but I pray that He’ll have mercy on those of us who love Israel. And who knows….God can step in anytime and thwart the proceedings of the enemies (U.S.A. included) of Israel. God will protect Jerusalem and Israel.

I love Israel. I’ve only been there once, but it has left an indelible mark on my heart. We stood on the Golan Heights…a military operation in back of us, and the enemy countries in front of us…and the country’s vulnerability without occupation of the Golan Heights was all too obvious. During Israel’s Memorial Day observance, at an outdoor remembrance, we saw the tears of family members of deceased armed forces members who gave their all to make their nation what it is today. Did they die in vain? Our Israeli guide, a well-versed historian, was very angry with his country’s administration then (1994) for talking about giving away land in exchange for peace. He said to us, “Don’t they read the Book? Don’t they know that land is supposed to be ours?” Bethlehem–I was deeply touched by the Holy Spirit there, and unashamedly shed spiritual tears at the place of Jesus’ birth–Bethlehem is gone, given away to the enemy. What’s next?

This reminds me of a time when God wanted to deliver a people. The same people. However, the bible says that God himself hardened the heart of Pharoh. Why? For God’s Glory. We never doubt can bring the change - that’s a no brainer. It’s the how’s and why’s. We may think that Bush has lost his mind but maybe this was God’s plan all along to bring about the beginning of the end.
Yes, there is much deceit in the administration - as always unfortunately. But it is really not just about Bush - he is doing what he has been pressured into doing by the general US population. He has been criticized for calling evil ‘evil’; for not having a spirit of cooperation with the Middle East countries. People have been against him for fighting terrorists. People in the US and abroad have been demanding peace and negotiations. Now he has given in to the ‘majority’, so let’s remember that the nation as a whole bears this responsibility - it is not Bush’s alone. Let’s pray that God removes the blinding that has fallen upon him and everyone (Blair, etc.) that is under the mistaken assumption that Islam is, or ever was, a religion of peace - that negotiations are possible with Islamic leaders speaking lies permitted by their Koran. This same blinding has fallen on the US people - indeed on the world in general. Islam is the ‘religion’ of a war lord, has fought for Hitler, and now uses Hitler’s methods to train their children for hate and Jihad. It has never been at peace with it’s neighbors and never will until it is completely destroyed at Christ’s coming. It is a political/religious entity that figures obviously into the end times, and enjoys rewriting history. Its influence is spreading quickly in governments as far as England and even here in America. The serpent is subtle where he needs to be - then it is too late. Just ask Adam and Eve. If indeed things move at a rapid pace from some near future point, I just hope that Christians will be ready and strong in faith to be able to stand firm as the sword falls to their neck, as is already happening to Christians overseas. Jesus said Christians would be persecuted for His name and to stand firm till He returns at the 7th trump - at the end (not before). The question we need to ask ourselves is can we? Is our faith that strong? Can we take responsibility for any part of passiveness or of a critical spirit that we might have played in it all? Can we call on G-D to give us eyes to see and ears to hear - and obedience born out of a strong faith?
As for Olmert - G_d will hold him accountable. He knows better.

I too love Isarel, we sponser the elderly who are still scattered in the Ukraine, I pray for each & every Jew for God’s protection to surround then with His Loving arms. I pray that He opens their eyes to know Him on His soon return. It is my dream to see Jerusalem, & I know someday I will….whether it be what it is now-or- the New Jerusalem!
dont forget people all those who make money from arms, such as those politicians in the u.s.a who have close links with the arms manufacturers and receive lots of money for endorsing such actions. The u.s.a are approaching recession and selling these arms is going to help their economy, sad but they do not care about the plight of Israel, but would rather secure oil for their own greed.
Bush says he is a believer .obviously doesn’t believe scripture, since this is his final year in office he wants to go out with a bang and to be rewmembered as the president who helped initiate ww3 the texicutioner.

I pray that President Bush’s faith fail him not! I pray that the Holy Spirit lead and guide him with Godly decisions, and Godly dicernment each and every day. I pray that our Father in heaven who knows what needs to be done, does what ever He needs to do on His part to make sure that those things be accomplished! We need to remember His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts! That is clear to us in the bible. This may make no sense to us now, but a lot of times that is exactly the case! I pray for peace in Jerusalem and peace in the White House! I also pray for all our intercessors to step up and interceed for this cause! With much love, in His name I pray!
Geez Bush, the only thing that he is there for is to look stupid. That is the worst move selling weapons to Saudi. The only reason is The Bushes getting there pockets lined by all these deals. Everyone knows about the deals with all the Bush’s with the oil and Saudi. That is why after 9/11 he let all the Bin Ladens leave the U.S. to go to Saudi Arabia without even having the CIA question them. The Ladens and grandpa Bush where even doing deals together. Now GW is sleeping with these dogs to line his and all of his family. It is the same thing like Iraq, going in to Iraq was just for oil and to get the public to forget about Bin-Laden and concentrate on Iraq. 85% of the contracts went to the government and there family (all the biggest ones). GW, you sleep with dogs, you wake up with flees. That is a hint, not to go against what G-d says.

When I heard what president Bush wants to do, chills engulfed my body, and started sobbing at my desk at work.
I thought he was a believer, therefore He believes the Word of God, Old and New Testament.
I sure don’t want the wrath of God over United States, nor any other part of the world that are against God’s chosen people.

I am impressed by the replies so many have posted! Even the ones lacking in grace come from hearts that obviously desire righteousness, truth, and for God’s will to be fulfilled. And it will be. If we examine history, especially Biblical history, we can see that rulers reflect the “will of the people” they rule over. Even in non-”democratic” nations, where rulers were overthrown by force instead of the vote, the genuine “will of the people” became evident! So, what is our will, here in the USA, today? We can make it known, and will make it known, even if it is by our apathy and refusal to exercise our responsibility as citizens! This year’s election is not about choosing between two political parties. Within both parties there is a choice to be made, between choosing leaders of integrity or followers of expediency and short-sighted self-interest.
